Institute for Translational Research
and Precision Medicine
The Institute of Translational Research and Personalized Medicine
was established with the aim of linking basic biomedical
research to clinical application and developing personalized therapeutic approaches.
The Institute for Translational Research and Precision Medicine was established to promote modern biomedical research and bridge the gap between basic scientific knowledge and clinical practice. Its creation responds to the international trend in translational medicine, which aims to transform scientific discoveries into practical applications for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Since its inception, the Institute has sought to advance research in fields such as molecular biology, genetics, bioinformatics, and clinical medicine. Through the collaboration of researchers and physicians, an interdisciplinary environment is fostered, enabling the development of new diagnostic tools and therapeutic approaches.
Particular emphasis is placed on personalized medicine, which is based on understanding the unique genetic and biological characteristics of each patient. This approach allows for the development of targeted therapies, aiming to enhance the efficacy of medical interventions while minimizing adverse side effects.
Through research programs, partnerships with universities and research centers, and participation in international scientific networks, the Institute actively contributes to the advancement of biomedical knowledge. At the same time, it strives to translate research findings into clinical practice, contributing to the improvement of patient health and quality of life.
