Giorgos Manolitsis

Georgios Manolitsis is a Professor of Educational Psychology in the Department of Preschool Education at the University of Crete. He obtained his PhD in Education Sciences from the University of Crete. His research and publications focus on issues related to early/emergent literacy, the early prediction of learning difficulties in written language, the home literacy and numeracy environment, the cognitive parameters of learning written language across different orthographic systems, as well as the assessment and management of behavioral problems in preschool age. His research has been funded by national and international programs (e.g., ELINET, EQuaP, ProW).
