Nikos Papadakis is Professor and Director of the Centre for Political Research & Documentation (KEPET), at the Department of Political Science of the University of Crete (UoC). He is a Member of the Scientific Council of the National Centre of Public Administration and Local Government (EKDDA) of Greece and an International Distinguished Visiting Professor at the Parul University (PU), in India. Further, he is the the Director of the Centre of Training and Lifelong Learning (KEDIVIM) UoC & a Member of the Scientific Committee of the “Euro-Mediterranean Observatory” of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Spain. He is member of International Scientific Associations, Institutes, and Networks such as the ECPR, the Center for European Constitutional Law (CECL), IPPA, ISA, ESA, and UN/SDSN Global. His academic and published work comprises 244 scientific publications, which include 218 articles in scientific journals and book chapters (102 of which are international), 15 monographs and 11 edited collective volumes. Additionally, he has participated or is currently participating as a Principal Investigator (Scientific Coordinator) or Researcher in 67
