Stamatios Papadakis is an Assistant Professor of Educational Technology at the Department of Preschool Education, University of Crete. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Informatics from the Athens University of Economics and Business, a Master’s degree in Preschool Education from the University of the Aegean, and a PhD from the University of Crete. His postdoctoral research focused on the evaluation of mobile educational applications for preschool and early primary school children. His research and publications focus on educational technology, mobile learning, computational thinking, educational robotics, novice programming environments, and the pedagogical use of artificial intelligence in preschool and primary education. He has participated in European and national expert committees and projects on digital educational content, digital skills, and artificial intelligence in education.
